Mike fuses himself with an object

Since there was no one home, Mike decided to try fusing himself with an object since the device was supposedly capable of that too. Where he was standing in the hallway on the first floor, he spotted a laundry basket sitting on the floor just outside the laundry room. Upon closer inspection, he could see that it was filled with his older sister Megan's clean and neatly folded laundry. He figured she must have just done her laundry, but hadn't got around to putting it away before she left. A little further down the hall, Mike also took note of one of the several potted plants in the house sitting in the corner.
