(For this story make everyone at least 18:So let's say Amy would be 21, Sonic 24 Tails would be 18 Knuckles would be 24 or 25 etc. etc. Just keep kids and teenagers out of sexual situations. And the story in general really)
Amy was returning to her home after an uneventful grocery shopping trip and (another) unsuccessful attempt to catch Sonic as she walked she mused about potential ways to snag the blue blur.
"*sigh* He's so fast that I can't just run up to him and expect to catch him that way. Maybe if I had a net I could throw it on him and then... No nets fall too slowly he'd get away before it had a chance to land."
"I could set a tar trap and- wait can you run fast enough to not stick to tar? Probably. Hmm if I could corral him into an alley I'd- No he'd just hop off the walls and speed off on the rooftops."
"Rouge could help!" she exclaimed a smile forming on her lips "She'd keep him distracted and then I'd..." her brow creased angrily but was soon replaced with a mischievous smile. OR better yet I'll distract him myself! Ooh! If I could turn myself invisible, and get the drop on him! Best of all, I wouldn't have to rely on Rouge not double-crossing me the second she sees a shiny jewel! Of course! It's the perfect plaAaaaaaaargH!
Amy tripped and was sent sprawling out onto the pavement.
"OW! What did I trip over?" Looking back she saw a shiny gold remote. Picking it up she marveled at the beauty of it, it seemed like something gaudy that the rich would buy but holding it in her hands she could why! 24 carat gold body and gemstone buttons this thing must have been worth a fortune!
"Oh man this is fancy but I really should return it... I guess I should make sure it works first right?" With those final words she slipped it in one of her bags and contemplated what to do about with it all the way to her house.
