It was summer again, which meant that Booby's Boardwalk was once again in full swing. Under the gaze of a giant cartoon seabird, people flocked from miles around to this popular destination for rides, games, greasy food, and other attractions. This year, one of the biggest draws would not be the roller coaster or the tilt-a-whirl, but the Dunk A Bimbo booth. There was a new girl working the booth this year, and word was getting around that she put on quite the show.
"You wouldn't dunk me, would you?" June mewed, casting a bashful glance at the next thrower in line. "My top might fall off in front of all these people!"
*SPLASH!* The baseball struck the target, June plunged into the water tank, and the crowd cheered when they saw her bikini top float to the surface. She re-emerged, did a convincing "Oh, my god!" take at her bare breasts, and performed a crowd-pleasing scream. She then slipped her top back on, took a bow, and got back up on her perch.
"You're never gonna see these!" she taunted the next thrower. "I don't show them to losers!"
*SPLASH!* Cheer! Scream!
"I'm so pretty," she said, pretending to be more interested in her nails than the next thrower. "Why don't you be a good little peasant and fetch me a cold drink?"
*SPLASH!* Cheer! Scream!
Meanwhile, Mimi was sitting at the control panel, taking people's money and grudgingly resetting the booth after every dunk. She was dressed in the standard uniform of pretty much every female employee who wasn't being dunked in a tank: a tiny pair of orange shorts and a "Booby's" belly shirt. She found the outfit humiliating, but was at least able to take solace in the fact that very few people were coming to the booth to look at her. She set into a mechanical rhythm to get through the day, barely registering the people as they popped June out of her top over and over again. It was therefore quite the surprise when somebody she knew appeared at the front of the line.
