The smoke continued to spread across the room, and it wasn't long before Simon was also engulfed in the haze. He looked to his left and to his right, held his hand up to his face, and was literally unable to see anything. He assumed the cloud was still spreading though, being that doors to the classroom were being opened, and the sounds of people running for the hallways was easily heard. At first, Simon tried to hold his breath, but eventually, he was forced try to breathe, which, despite how thick the cloud looked, he found rather easy. His mouth felt a little dry, and he tasted something similar to salt, but he wasn't really concerned.
He sat in the mists for what felt like an eternity. He could hear people all around the room panicking, some crashing into stuff trying to find a way out. After about five minutes, the smoke finally began to clear, when Simon could finally make out figures...
