Jenna, Abby and their mother arrived at the TV station at 9:00, where the game show would be taking place. Outside of the broadcast room they found Carrie. "Hi!" she exclaimed." You must be Jenna and Abby's mother!"
"Yes, I am." said the girls' mother, "My name is Janice. It's nice to meet you and thanks for asking the girls to be on the show!"
"Oh, it's our pleasure!" said Carrie. "Right this way girls, we'll get you all ready. We have an hour until show time."
Carrie took the girls and their mother on stage to she the set explained the show to the girls. It was a large, fancy TV-like room with pink and silver decorations. In the middle of the room were two cushioned tables with wrist and ankle cuffs. "You will have to pass 5 levels to win the grand prize of 20,000 dollars! Each level will get harder and harder. You will wear a different outfit for each level as well. You will be tickled by two of our lovely staff members, who you will meet later! You will each be strapped to one of these comfortable tables where you will be tickled. The first level is 7 minutes, the second one 5, the third 4, the fourth 3 and the last 2. Your goal is to not say the mercy word within the time limits of each level. For this game, the mercy word is " Hairspray."
Jenna and Abby looked at each other nervously. This would be so much fun, but also really really hard! Their mother was smiling, "This is going to be so fun, girls! I need to go find my seat in the TV audience. Have fun!" She went to find her seat.
Carrie took the girls backstage to get their hair styled and their appearance made for the Game Show. The station was a bustle of people moving around and getting ready for the 10:00 start. They arrived at a dressing room with a sign on the door that said, "Tickle Challenge Ticklees. Jenna and Abby." "Alright girls, here we are! Someone will come to escort you to the stage when it is time. Good luck!" She gave each of them a hug and then opened the door for them.
Inside, there were several women standing by closets and mirrors. "Welcome girls!" one of them cooed. "We are here to help you get ready for the show"
Each girl sat in front of a mirror, as the ladies went to work on their hair and makeup.
