You make it outside

    by: Norman33 Author IconMail Icon
What this girl is saying is insane. There is no way she can be Mark, but there is also no other way she could have known about Mike Anderson and Amy Johnson. Unless Mark told her, but why would he tell her something as obscure as that. None of what's going on makes any sense. You decide just to play this out until you can get some real answers. You go down one more flight of stairs and out an exterior door. You then find yourself in a parking lot. The strange woman who for now you'll refer to as Mark looks around and then heads for a black BMW parked nearby. She produces keys out of her pocket and hits the fob unlocking the doors. "Hurry and get in", she demands. You obey getting into the passenger seat. She starts the car and speeds out of the parking lot. "She certainly drives like Mark", you think to yourself.

You're a few kilometers down the road before you see her relax some. You wait a few more minutes and then say, "Ok, are you going to fill me in on exactly what this is all about"? She slows the car a bit and replies with, "You remember several years ago when they cloned that sheep? The problem was that the sheep rapidly aged to the age of the donor sheep. They didn't stop with sheep. They found a girl with a weird genetic makeup that made her a universal donor. Her blood, organs, and everything else would be rejected by someone receiving them. They cloned her with the intent of harvesting her clones for human spare parts. They didn't see anything wrong with the idea because even though the clones rapidly age to the genetic donor's age of 22 or so they have no minds. They're essentially vegetables. They were ready for human testing when we got into the accident, which was strangely enough near the hospital they took over for their experiments. We were brought there. I was barely alive and died shortly after arriving. Your injuries were minor, just cuts and bruises. One of the doctors came up with the radical idea of transplanting my brain into the body of a clone. A full body transplant if you will and here I am".
