Ever since they met each other on the second day of Project Freelancer they knew they would be best friends. They shared everything together: A room, training sessions, missions, even the same LOVE interests. They both liked only one of the boys: Agent Maine. About two years after they joined the program, Maine asked Connie for a private word. She wouldn't tell anyone what he said and he wouldn't tell either. Carolina on the other hand guessed EXACTLY what had happened. Carolina was disappointed that Maine liked Connie better than he liked her, but she WAS mad about Connie not telling her. What was she afraid of? That Carolina would spread it like the plague?
When Connie came into their room that night, she noticed Carolina looked different. She asked what was up, but Carolina just ignored her. Connie just shrugged and went to sleep, unaware of what Carolina had in store for her the next day.
