Rukia was on her way back to Ichigo's house from high school she heard a hollow coming up behind her. It was small for hollow being about the size of a car it stood on for legs and had a hunched back, it's tailed bristled with spikes. None of these factors Rukia had time to take in before the hollow whipped its tail around and launched a spike that collided with the shoulder of her Gigai. The spike was small and the wound minimal and it didn't take long for Rukia to recover from the supplies and killed the hollow. However when she returned to her Gigai she couldn't shake a strange feeling which only got more intense as she got back to Ichigo's house.
