This choice: Guest Room (Something happens at night) • Go Back...Chapter #3A Simple Request by: Hypn   "In the guest bedroom," Catherine finishes. Not surprised by this development, you gladly accept and thank her. As the three of you move upstairs to get ready for bed, you see Zoe and Catherine share a quick look, followed by the mother nodding her head. As you enter the guest bedroom, you are surprised as Zoe follows you.
Glancing around nervously, Zoe speaks softly to you, "Look, Zack, I really like you. Like I like you a lot."
"That's good, I like you a lot too," You playfully respond.
"But there's something you have to know about me," Zoe says as you hear the pain in her voice, "I'm not like other girls. And I'm afraid that once you know my secret, you won't want to be with me anymore."
"There's no secret that would stop me from wanting to be with you," You state chivalrously, "Whatever it is, you can tell me."
Zoe seems uncomfortable and shifty, "I'm not so sure, but if you promise you will love me no matter what, I want you to do me a favor." She reaches into the closet of the bedroom and pulls out a small box. "Before you go to sleep, I want you to put this CD into the player and keep it on repeat while you sleep. If you can do that for a couple nights, I promise I will tell you my secret."
You are confused by her instructions, but agree to follow them. After all, it was a simple request, albeit very strange. As you agree, her eyes suddenly light up, and you can see an outpouring of affection from her expression. She hugs you harder than she ever has before and you feel that her touch almost has a strange lust. "Oh Zack, I knew you were the one for me."
She backs off and raises her finger, pointing directly at you, "Now remember, if you want to be with me, you have to play this on repeat, then we will have a future together." While you are slightly startled by her change in tone, you again agree, and she happily kisses you goodnight and strides off to her room.
You look into the small box and see the blank CD and wonder why she would make such a strange request.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
