In the Pridelands, there was always peace. Except when Scar took over and cause problems. But this will be a bit of a different story. Let's start out from the beginning before Simba was born. Sarabi was pregnent with Simba and Mufasa has happy about it. It ment that he would have someone to be the future king when he was gone. Scar, was not too happy about. He felt that he didn't get anything that he wanted and his brother got had everything. This left Scar to eating his pain away.
When he he would go out hunting, he hunted for more they just one thing. He would ofter hunt for three things and eat them BY HIMSELF. Antelope, zebra, even a hippo once. All those animals evenually gone to his hips and his belly. Basically, Scar was now just a big bloated lion with a belly touching the ground.
One day, Mufasa and Scar decided to walk and talk a bit. Mufasa happened to notice how big he was getting.
"My brother. Look like you gained quite a few pounds." Mufasa said patting his stomach.
"Maybe a little." Scar replied.
"Ha. Look a you. You're close to a hippo." Mufasa said.
"Watch it, brother." Scar said. "So what did you wanted to talk about.
"As you know, Sarabi is close to giving birth to my cub." Mufasa said.
"When he grow up, I want him to be the future king."
Hearing that made Scar's ears drop.
"Future......king?"
"Well yeah. But only when he's older and my time is passed. I was hoping you would help with making him a good king as well."
Scar was still in deep thought. In reality, HE wanted to be the next king to take over.
"Aren't you a bit ahead of yourself? I mean, the cub isn't even born yet."
"Still, I want him be one the greatest kings of this land. Great like father."
"Father........"
Scar decided to walk out now.
"Scar.....where are you going?"
"I.....just need to get some "me time" for a while."
Scar felt down about not being sad and angry at the same time.
