She waited until after dinnertime that evening to start her Forbidden Forest adventure. Ron and Harry decided to go with her to see what she might do. Also they felt that Hermione could use some company and perhaps help. First Hermione wondered if she should see Hagrid first since he was the Professor of the Care of Magical Creatures and Animals. Also Hagrid liked Harry and his friends.

But she had the urge to head into the Forest first. Hermione did not want to worry the Half-Giant Hagrid. Hermione asked her friends what they thought she should do. After some discussion, they decided to
