Out of the shadows emerges a brown and white German Shepherd/ American Akita mix that would make Godzilla from the 1998 suspense film look like a garden gnome. You look at blaze's body everything Riptide told you is true. His legs showed that he too ran a lot being a working dog, His chest has a noticeable six pack and his face struck fear into you. His muzzle and maw is so huge you think that it could engulf the entire state of Texas in it. You tremble as blaze yawns and reveals his large tongue and fangs. You don't dare want to get on this dog's bad side or else you fear you might get a terrifying up close encounter with those fangs inside that maw that pulverizes chow on a daily basis and with the athletic build both Riptide and Blaze have they must eat a lot to keep in top physical condition.
"Ahhh gooood moooorning little bro your a little more perky than usual this morning." "Nope I'm just the same old me just like every morning." " Oh really" and with that he grabs Riptide by the neck and gives him a light ruffle on his head and gives him a playful lick on his head as well. " Okay Okay foods all set and on the table." Blaze comes over the table and pulls out a chair and sits down " This is quite the spread you made no wonder dad and mom think you should go to culinary school." " Aw shucks some one has to be the one to take of the spatula and spoon while the other pays the bills to this place." Riptide replies. They both sit down at the table and start to dig in. Unfortunately Riptide has completely forgotten to tell Blaze about you due to being lost in chowing down.
You on the other hand notice blaze's large fluffy tail wag as he sits down. Riptide takes his place across from his big brother. Your caught in the middle of two large, hungry canines that are prepared to go to town on the food set out before them. You take a small breath and try to look for some place high to try and get their attention. You notice the basket of biscuits is close by so you walk on over and begin to climb the mesh exterior of the basket. You begin to wave arms when a slight misstep causes you to fall into the basket of biscuits. You try to get your bearings when a large brown and white paw grabs the biscuit you've fallen on. Your hoisted up into the air and you land on a yellow white surface which was a plate. Then your covered in a brown thick substance. " It's gravy." You tell yourself then the next thing you see is a giant fork spears the biscuit and lifts you and the biscuit up high. You start to freak as you see blazes's enormous maw come into view. You think to yourself that your going to have your close encounter with blaze's mighty jaws sooner then you thought. Blaze's tongue licks his lips and he brings his mouth closer to the fork thats when you summon all your courage to scream at the top of you lungs. " Pllleeaasee Dooonnn"ttt EAAAT MEEEE!!!!!" This causes Blaze and Riptide to stop eating and take stock of the situation.
Blaze reaches into the biscuit basket for another one and puts it on his plate then pours some gravy upon it. He takes his fork and spears the biscuit and brings it up to his mouth. " Another treat is about to take a one way trip to my stomach." Blaze says to himself as he licks his lips and opens his jaws around the fork when he hears a terror filled scream that causes him and Riptide to stop where they are and take stock of the situation. Blaze brings the fork up to his eyes to see what made the scream. Blaze sees your tiny form upon his fork and he almost jumps in surprise. " Rip (short for Riptide) what's this little creature doing on my food?" Riptide nearly jumps out of his chair as he races over to fill in his brother about his little friend. Blaze don't eat him he's a friend of mine I found him this morning in my bed as I woke up." " Yeah that's true!!" you shout up at blaze you eyes you suspiciously. " Well Well Well I never would've guessed that my little bro would have a even littler friend." He places you upon his muzzle as he takes the biscuit piece into his maw, which is crush into oblivion and swallowed down into his stomach. He then places you back on the table out of the way of any danger. After the meal all three of you gather in the living room to talk about how you came to being in their house and your life.
Blaze seems to take a liking towards you as he hears about your interest in baseball as well, and the really close bond you have created with his little brother. Well I guess there's nothing more then to say " welcome to the family!!!" With that he leans down to you on the pillow between Riptide and himself and gives you a friendly warm lick. Which feels like being hit by the world's biggest drool covered paint brush. You continue your conversation long into the day when it's even dark out. You are given a little bed made out of a tissue box and a blanket made out of a small patch of cloth that hasn't been used. You think your going to go to sleep by yourself when both Blaze and Riptide come into the living room carrying sleeping bags for they plan to keep you company and look after you as Riptide put it " Out little human puppy." You stay up late into the night until you just pass out due to exhaustion. Both Blaze and Riptide look down at your peaceful form and after grooming themselves and wishing each other good night the fall asleep as well. So you drift off into dream land as you lie there in a tissue box bed surrounded by two enormous canines that consider you part of their family that they would do anything to protect and look after you.
