Horses

Large four leged animals with fur covering all of their body with hair and a tail of matching color they were all horses of different varying breeds

The leader of the aliens stepped out first and walked toward the closest horse that was definitely a human before their attack giving the torn clothing on it and the ground surrounding it and the hat that was still somehow on its head

The leader attached it two smaller suction cup hands to the horse's head around its brain clearly reading its mind to see if it has any memory of it human life it was never a garenty

After reading the horse's mind the leader turned to the army on the ship and...
