he could tell from the black skin, small body and legs yet big curved teeth, claws, wings and tail that it was a leachling. leachlings were known for feeding on blood and their wings were strong enough to lift a human into the air so some viking heros would let their leachlings latch onto and feed on their back but hiccup was small and like most vikings even omething as compeling as flight was having a parasite was a little concerning.
