You read the programming manual: "To program," it said, "Simply press the 'program' button on the remote. The subject will stand at attention and you may observe their eyes to be half-closed. The subject will not move or speak unless you either press the 'program' button again, thereby un-programming them until it's pressed a third time, or give a command.
To give a command, simply state the subject's name, followed by what you want them to do, and they will obey. However, if you command them to do something that is against the laws of physics, they will simply say, "Does not compute".
While in programming mode, the only things they can do voluntarily are eat, sleep, breathe, drink and go to the bathroom."
Sounds easy, you think. Maybe, I could program Yvonne to tidy my room.
Your room was a mess, due to you not really seeing the point of tidying and finding it tedious, but you thought that Yvonne wouldn't mind.
"Yvonne," you say, "follow me."
"Yes, Kip," says Yvonne in an emotionless voice.
You walk towards her room and she follows you with an even stride that's void of the little skip she usually has.
When you get to your room, what do you have Yvonne do first?
