"Mr. Hemsworth. Your new assistant is here." Lucy buzzed over the intercom.
"Thank you Lucy. Send him in."
A knock sounded at the door and it opened slightly. "Mr. Hemsworth? I'm your new assistant, Regan."
The man stepped in. Chris looked him up and down. The man seemed rather nervous but otherwise was really presentable. He guessed Regan was maybe in his late 20s. His tan skin perfectly complimented his dark brown eyes. Even with his off the rack suit, he could still tell this guy was rather fit. Not as fit as himself, but he easily could be said to know his way around the gym just by looking at him. His golden-brown hair seemed dyed but not to an unnatural color and the spikes accented his chin. And oddly, his hair's color also matched the color of the muffins in the basket he was carrying.
He held out the basket of muffins. "Here sir. Just a gift for this amazing opportunity!"
Chris avoided rolling his eyes. It was a kind gesture and he was raised to be polite but he hadn't gotten his career going by eating everything.
"Thanks Regan." He said grabbing the basket. He was about to set it on his table when the smells hit him. His mouth immediately watered. He'd never smelled anything so heavenly! Looking over the basket more closely, he could see blueberry, chocolate chocolate chip, and banana nut muffins among others he couldn't identify. Even though he'd already eaten, his stomach growled at the site before him. He shrugged to himself. One muffin couldn't hurt. And he didn't want to be rude!
Grabbing a muffin without even really looking, he bit in. It took all his will power not to moan as the blueberries burst in his mouth.
"How is it Mr. Hemsworth?" Regan asked, snapping Chris back into the room but not quite back to his senses.
"It's delicious! Did you make these yourself? Why aren't you a baker? You could make a fortune!" He asked through a mouth full of muffin.
Regan grinned. "I thought about it, but I prefer to interact with people."
Chris tossed the last of the muffin into his mouth and rubbed his gut. "That was probably one of the best muffins I've ever had. But I probably shouldn't have more right now. Got to stay in shape."
"Well, at least the movie is almost done filming. Don't you only have like a month left? Surely that's mostly just finishing touches and such? Can't they just like airbrush you and stuff?"
Chris shrugged. "Probably, but I'd rather not have them do that to much. Well Regan, I'll be back in a few hours and I hope those delicious muffins will still be here." He patted his new assistant on the shoulder as he walked out the door.
Regan grinned. "They will be. And I'll make sure there's always plenty!"
