Down for a Ride

Confident you're safe inside the car, and rather weary of straddling Dana's shoe for dear life, you gently guide your way over Dana's show and drop somewhere beside her heel. You feel the rough carpet awash with sand grains and almost wished you hadn't moved.

You look ahead and see the brake pedals. "Dana's driving!" You say shocked and a bit frightened, remembering a time when you took her driving which almost resulted in a rapid ride to the emergency room.

"Nice," you admire her smooth improvements and barely notice the sudden jerks even at your small, vulnerable stature.
