Narra dodged behind a tree. She wanted no part of the powder.
“I just want to talk,” she called to them but just in case she prepared an arrow just in case.
“Join us, become one of the sisterhood,” a sultry voice called to her.
She could hear them coming closer. Narra debated a retreat but she wanted answers. Her arrow struck a tree branch sending the group scattering to get out of the way.
“I can get violent and you will have a lot fewer sisters,” she warned them.
This brought a gasp from them as they looked from one to another. They took a step back.
“I am just looking to see if any of you might be a witness,” she explained lowering her bow. “Princess Penelope has gone missing and the King has asked me to find her.”
They cocked their heads like dogs. It was clear they had little if any idea of what she was talking about. The elf doubted they had any real clue about the politics of the country they dwell in. But Narra knew they probably knew about 10,000 more things about pleasuring a person than she did.
“A woman with a crown was taken near here,” she tried to simplify it.
They nodded. There was a lot of distracting wobbling as they pointed towards the woods away from them.
