She heard movement behind her and she couldn’t be sure who it was, it might have just been a passenger trying to flee the pirates but it was too risky to take a chance so she went around the corner and up the stairs. Temperance debated if it was better to hide or go join the others. At least with the others around, she would be treated as part of the group instead of being at the mercy of whatever whim the pirate might have that found her and with this body would draw whims from men that she didn’t want to experience with these filthy pirates.
Temperance exited the inside of the ship into the bright sunlight to a large crowd of the passengers and crew being forced together. A large man grabbed her arm and squeezed it painfully tight, she tempted to fight but knew they would suspect something was up if she killed one of the pirates so she let out a cry of pain and tried to look the part of a frightened helpless noblewoman but she made certain to memorize the face. She was a big fan of paying back those who hurt you especially when they did it without good reason, the sadistic grin on the man’s face told her that he was enjoying her suffering.
“Look what I caught here boys!” He twisted her arm and yanked her out for the group to see drawing some hoots and hollers from the pirates.
“Enough,” the Captain stepped forward with his blade drawn. “You are getting sloppy, don’t mess with our guests. Young lady, get with the others. The loot might be very good this day but we have taken some losses so I am going to asks our guests to dig deep if they want to make it out of this with their lives and their freedom. Some of you would surely sell very well on the slave market.”
His hand cupped one of Temperance’s breasts, lifting it and letting it drop with an appealing jiggle. She recognized the man as the Skeleton Man, a legendary pirate known for his thin body and long bony fingers. He had numerous close calls with death causing rumors that he was one of the undead, whatever the truth was he wore a skull mask. There was a temptation to use her hidden dagger to test the truth of the rumors but she started to take off her jewels to drop in the bag a pirate was bringing around.
“I think I need that dress, I have just the girl back in port who would love it,” the foul-smelling man grinned wickedly in front of her. She paused to see if Skeleton Man would put any halt to this, it was clear he was watching but he made no move to stop it. She dropped low to slide her blade out and did her best to hid it underfoot before she stripped.
It was easy to blush a bright crimson as she was left in her fancy lingerie in front of all of these leering eyes. No one appeared to notice the weapon, it was easy to see they had other things that their eyes were focused upon. Her swells and curves were enhanced by the undergarments and the hooting and hollering told her the pirates approved of her outfit. Temperance wished she had fought, she hated to be humiliated like this and to feel so powerless. If she got away from them she swore she would hunt them to ends of the earth.
