The bathroom

The room was quiet and empty, which almost made you want to whine after all that work. It had taken a long time to get down to your parents room, which were your best bet at getting help and no one was even here. Though, you realized that around this time your mom would have been in the bathroom, doing her makeup to go out. Whether it was to the mall, to go with friends, or go food shopping. You practically could leap for joy as you bolted toward the bathroom down the hall. As you finally got to the bathroom you could hear water running, but you couldn't tell if it was even the shower, faucet, or a flushing toilet. Whatever it was, you wanted to get help as soon as possible and slipped under the door. Who was inside?
