He smiles and says, "You may be right. There might be times that I could come to doubt the decision that I've made. That is why I'm going to make sure that I can't change my mind later". He then turns and presses a button on a key fob he's holding. The machine comes to life. This time it gets even louder than before. part begins to fly off, sparks fly, and smoke fills the room. He flips a switch on the wall and fans quickly exhaust the smoke out of the basement. "What have you done", you exclaim. He shrugs and says, "Made sure that neither one of us can change our minds". You stare in disbelief at the machine still smoldering in the basement. "I'll tell everyone what you did", you shout still tied up! He sighs and states, "No, no you want for several reasons. First you don't want to be locked away in a psychiatric ward and drugged for the rest of your life. Second is you won't be able to". That last sentence catches your attention. "What do you mean I won't be able to", you ask feeling suddenly very vulnerable.
