You arrived in Spain ready to begin your new work than can involve you one year of your life.. You will work at Nato base located in Valencia. Infact you are a strong and well trained military of the Italian Marine. You are proud to represent your country in a Nato base, you never worked internationally before.
You will live in a small apartment near the base so you can go by foot or by bus. You are Italian so also if you haven’t studied spanish you can understand and also speak a little of it. But obviously in the base you will speak english.
You always loved Spain as country but you never have been there before so you are curious how is the life there.
Today is your first day also if your turn start in the afternoon but you go out earlier from your apartment and using your mobile to see the road you start your new adventure.
Suddenly you hear boys shouting, you turn your head to the right and you see a bunch of young boys playing football in a local football academy. You think at your childhood when you used to play with your friends and you stop one moment to see. You can see at least 10 boys around the age of 10 or 11 years old who are playing and a boy who has the captain armband scora a very beautiful goal. When you decide to go a boy called the captain and you can see him indicate you.
Everyone stop and turn towards you.
The captain call for you “holaaaa, tenemos que hacer una challenge de futbol y nos falta un jugador, puedes unirte? ". The brat explains to you that you can play in two ways: all the kids shoot penalties until the last one has a prize and you should just do the referee (for nothing in the world do you think you are the prize, not yet at least), or a direct challenge between you and the captain and whoever wins decides penance for the other. Out of the corner of your eye, you seem to see two kids laughing as their tongue runs over their lips.
"Vamos, tienes miedo de chicos mas pequenos de ti? Veo que eres un militar no? Y yo pensaba que los militares no tienen miedo de nada tampoco de ninos que juegan a balon, vamos a jugar cinco minutos y despues te va, ok? Asì mis amigos y yo nos convencemos que no eres un Italian perdedor jajajaja ".
You do not hear it but a boy says to another "asì algo de nosotros vas a comerselo entero" "mejor dicho" replies the other while giggling.
You can't accept this arrogance, Spanish children can't turn to you like that so you decide to teach them a lesson since you still have time before your shift begins. You still don't know this is going to be the worst choice you've ever made in your life.
