You are seated next to an eagle antho. He has a white hair that almost blends with his white feathers and brown eyes that are slightly obscured by his glasses and has white wings coming out of two holes in his school uniform.
The rest of the time after the introductions was spent teaching the students the rules of the school, meanwhile you were both looking around, hoping the other kids aren't staring at you and also looking at your desk mate who is staring down shyly after your eyes met, which you find kind of cute and relatable.
After that, the break started. You take out your breakfast which is just a regular sandwich with more meat in it than any human breakfast sandwich should have, and before you unwrap it, the eagle kid sitting next to you surprisingly turn to you and says: "Hi! I'm David. What's your name?"
You didn't think the seemingly shy David will introduce himself to you, but you are really glad he did since you were nervous and weren't sure he would like you or not, but you quickly gather your thoughts and respond:
