While Daira had weakened over the centuries Daira had also seen humans make technological leaps over the years. The start of what mortals referred to as the industrial revolution was especially a great leap. Daira had marveled at how clever people had become in their ways to kill each other.

It also meant that if Daira was going to find a new host then this would have to be accounted for. The situation was further complicated by the arrival of super heroes. Daira knew that he could not hope to give his power to a metal human but someone close to a metahuman perhaps. Daira then saw the perfect candidate in a young woman named Mandy. 26 years old and standing 5 foot 7 and 147 LBS with a C cup rack Daira looked deep in to her desires. Daira realized that Mandy worked in some R&D facility and hated being weak while living in a world of metahumans, super weapons, and enhanced mortals.
