Since Ranma's arrival at her home the boy had saved Akane many times over; a fact which ate away at her every day. It made her feel so helpless when she watched Ranma fight stronger opponents that she knew she could not hope to defeat, but now the youngest Tendo daughter felt unbelievable power in her muscles. Akane no longer felt helpless, something she intended to rub in Ranma's face.
Akane threw on a baggy shirt she sometimes used for a pajama top, the only piece of clothing in her closet that would give her some form of decency, even though it only came down to the bottom of her chest. She managed to squeeze into a skirt before heading down to the dojo where she heard Ranma's morning practice. Luckily for her, both of her sisters were preoccupied, Kasumi was making breakfast and Nabiki was out of it because she hadn't drunk her cup of coffee yet.
Akane slid open the door to the dojo and closed it behind her.
