She lets Big Mac go with no hard feelings

The mare stared Big Mac right in the eye for ten full seconds, before throwing her head back and laughing.

"Ha! Look at how scared you are! Don't worry, I'm just messing with you!" The mare let go of Big Mac, and trotted off.

Big Mac laid there for the next five minutes, completely in shock.

"Um......That just happened, ah guess." He sighed before getting up and going back to the farm.

Everything seemed fine after that, but is it really fine?
