Chapter #5

Bonding

         "Jasperine! Come on do you not remember what day it is?" yells your commander as he catches up
         "Ummm... should I?"
         "I'll give you a hint, you're bonding with a human today."
         "Oh my gosh! I completely forgot!" you say. Your commander sighs
         "Well hurry up and get to the meeting spot, and be ready!"
         "Yes sir!" you respond, you can't believe how lucky you are to be given the chance to bond with a human. You only hope you are lucky enough for one to choose you. You beat your wings against the sky and soar after your commander with the sun gleaming above you. Little to your knowledge a cloaked figure who is garbed in black and has two katanas, one white and one black, strapped to his back. He also is wearing his hood up so that it masks his face from sight as he watches you fly off.
         "So it finally begins, the trials those two will face shall be great. I only hope that for the sake of this world that they overcome them." He says, the hooded man then turns and raises his hand. A shadow appears before him and he walks into it, then vanishes from sight.
