Chapter #5
Neither happens/Something completely different
by: Unknown
"Johnny. Johnny." You try to ignore Brianna's squeaky voice. "Johnny."
Without opening your eyes you say, "Brianna, I'm sleeping. Go away."
"But Johnny, I'm here to play with you."
"Look, Brianna, I'm sleeping, and I'm not opening my eyes until I am good and awake." That should shut her up.
"Well, sleeping babies need their pacies!" You have no idea what she means and open your mouth to protest when something small and sickly slips into your mouth. Something sweet. You don't heat her screaming as she runs out and slams the door.
Sleepily you open your eyes, but you don't need to see it to know the pacifier you both is now in you mouth. On the floor is Brianna's baby doll. She must have wanted to play dolly. It'd make sense to take it out, but you can't help but suckle, and the more you suckle, the sweeter it becomes. It fills your mind. You are drawn back to sleep, heavier than any you can remember.
Warmth fills your dreams. And a desire for something sweet filling your mouth.
You don't know but you spend most of the day asleep. A typical teenager's Saturday, but not quite.
