What would you do if you were granted the power to manipulate the world around you?

What would you do if you were granted the power to manipulate the world around you?

This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!
The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
You are Matt Lawson, just your average high school student. One day you are granted the power to manipulate reality, a power some might consider too dangerous too be granted to a human. But you don't really care about that, you just want to use your new found power to have some fun! There are also options to start as other characters instead!

I know this is yet another concept that is done to death, but I felt like putting my own spin on it so here we are. The powers are pretty straightforward, you can pretty much alter the world as you see fit. But, as always, I have a few guidelines.

General Writing Rules:
These are the guidelines for adding to any of my stories. I reserve the right to delete any chapters that break these rules.

1. Use good spelling and grammar. I will fix small mistakes, but I will delete chapters that are too hard to read.
2. Keep the story in second person and present tense. It's jarring when these randomly change.
3. Be consistent within a story branch and maintain the established continuity of the branch.
4. Keep characters consistent with their bios. It's okay to expand upon what's in the bios, but don't have characters act completely out of character or change established details about them.
5. Avoid adding too many one sentence or choice chapters. These are fine for earlier chapters in a branch to get things started, but after that point it becomes annoying and doesn't add anything to the story.
6. Don't write something completely different than what the option you selected says.
7. Try to avoid leaving only one option at the end of a chapter.
8. Sex is fine, but please try to be at least a bit realistic about it. Most people don't have sex constantly.
9. Try to avoid killing characters, especially the main characters. It's fine to include character death sometimes, but it's not really the focus of the story.
10. Please try to avoid adding to chapters that obviously violate the rules. I'd hate to delete a good chapter because it was added to one that broke the rules.
11. No promoting hate speech or being otherwise disrespectful of others.
12. Most importantly, have fun and don't be afraid to add! The story isn't going to write itself you know...

This is a pretty open-ended story so other than these rules, go wild!

Usually, I have a list of established characters, but this time around, we have just a core set of main characters. I leave the rest of the characters up to you! Feel free to add whatever friends, enemies, extended relatives, or whoever else to your story branch. I only ask that you don't add any more immediate family members and that you maintain the continuity in each story branch (basically if a character exists in one branch they don't necessarily exist in another and vice versa).

Characters:
Matt Lawson: You. You're an average 16 year-old guy. You have short, dark hair and brown eyes, and have an average build and height of 5'9". You enjoy sports, but you were never very good at them. You like video games and hard rock music. You're a smart guy, but you're kind of lazy and don't apply yourself so you're just an average student.

Amanda Lawson: Your 18 year-old sister. She's the opposite of you. She's smart, she's pretty, she's popular, and is a member of a ton of extracurricular activities. She's the kind of sociable person that can get along with anyone. You get along well but don't really share any interests so you don't hang out a lot. She has long, brown hair and brown eyes, and a great figure. She stands at 5'4" and has a pair of C-cup breasts.

Ashlie Lawson: Your 14 year-old sister. She's hyperactive and annoying. You don't dislike her, but you don't like spending time with her either because she's so obnoxious. She has brown eyes and long, dark hair, but its currently dyed bright pink. As she's still growing, she's only 5'1" and her breasts are only an A-cup. She's pretty much the stereotypical scene girl in terms of style, and she has the same sort of interests as well, listening to emo pop-punk and post-hardcore bands and enjoying stuff like Twilight.

Wendy Lawson: Your 44 year old mother. She shares a lot of physical traits with your older sister like shoulder-length brown hair like, C-cup breasts, 5'4" height, and nice figure. Even in her 40s, she is still quite attractive. She has a warm, caring personality, but she can be sharp when she needs to be. She works as a lawyer at a private law firm.

Paul Lawson: Your 45 year old father. He's 5'11" and has slightly graying dark hair. Though in his 40s now, he still keeps in decent shape. He can be a bit stern at times, but he's an overall nice guy. He's been a dentist for many years.

Zoe: The Lawson family dog. She's a 2 year-old chocolate lab with relatively high energy.
