"I wonder what happened to my old clothes?" Rob said to himself as he ran back toward the rack he had been standing by. "Maybe I can use them to change back." He looked at the assortment of outfits. It didn't take long to find the t-shirt and sweatpants he had been wearing previously, but when he reached to grab them they began to shift and change, just as his body had not long before. He watched, transfixed as the shirt faded to white and a row of bright, shiny black buttons materialized and the front. There was a loud rip sound as the front split down the middle and the top swelled as it shifted into a dress collar. The waistline of his paints also ripped off and shifted to a much thicker fabric. It turned bright neon orange and metal clasps formed on the the ends as it became a suspender. Another one came into being besides it to complete the pair, and they clasped onto the pants, which had taken on a nasty plaid print. A couple inches tore off both pant legs. One became a bow tie that matched the pants new look. The other turned to white plastic and became a pocket protector that quickly filled to the brim. The remaining accessories needed to complete the new costume, namely the dress shoes, hideously plaid socks, and thick rimmed glasses taped in the middle, appeared underneath the outfit. The only thing left to hint at what the clothes formerly were was the images of Rob's college mascot, a black panther, which were now printed every inch or so the the suspenders.
Rob stared in shock at what his clothes had become. "We'll, I guess that plan is not going to work." He said to himself. The sound of his new made him shutter with fear. He was stuck like this! "Wait a minuet!" He thought. "I'm not stuck. I can't go back, but I know a little about this time period. It won't be so bad here. I can chose another costume so I won't be stuck as a nerd, and then get situated here. Or maybe I should stay a nerd. Didn't all those 80's shows have to geek end up filthy rich with the football captain mowing his lawn?" He looked at the other costumes along the rack. There was a Letterman Jacket covered in patches that made it clear it was for a Jock, some strange looking black clothes with a neon green wig for a Punk, a popular Cheerleader's outfit, and some a pair of baggie sweatpants and hoodie with a skateboard below, which had to be for a Skater.
