Rob looked around frantically for someone that could help him. He knew he had to hurry, which was against his old nature, but the thought of being stuck in the 80s as a nerd scared him.
A pretty, young lady that looked out of place for any time period, let alone the 80s, overheard Rob's scream from the changing room. She had been looking at candles when the room transformed around her, which didn't bother her. But the guy she had been eyeing had disappeared, and she when she heard the scream she knew, something had happened to him. She turned around to see a nerd emerge from the changing room, the panicked look on his face making it obvious that this nerd was her guy.
Rob took notice of her and was surprised that she was wearing a fancy dress like one a princess would wear. She locked eyes with him. Giggling, she introduced herself, "I'm Elena. Could you perhaps tell me where the young man from the changing room is?" Rob was stunned by her beauty and stuttered, "Um, I'm him." Elena pretended not to believe him, "No, you can't be!" Then she leaned in and spoke softly, "Silly, I know it's you!"
Rob was curious. "How did you know?" he squeaked, the nasal sound of his new voice reminding him of Steve Erkel. "I'm a witch. I know all about this place, that it can transform people. But my protection spell keeps me from being affected so I just pay no attention usually, not till today." This made Rob even more curious. He asked another question, "Why today?" Elena smiled, "Because I like you." "What? You like me!" Rob said, kind of wondering why a girl like her would like a nerd like him. "Not the nerd you, the real you," she continued. He was relieved, "Oh, okay."
Rob wondered if Elena could help him, or was she going to do something else to him. But Elena spoke again, "I can help you get back." "How?" Rob asked. "Simple, like I said, I'm a witch. I'll break the spell on the costume and you'll be back to normal," Elena answered. She thought to herself, "It's a shame to let him go this easy. I should have some fun with him first."
Does Rob trust Elena to help him or does he try to find his way back on his own?
