"Come on son!" Shelly gestured to Jake, taking long strides in her 3-inch heeled mules, and Jake noticed his mother no longer had the feminine 'sway' to her walk that she had always had before. "Mom...are you feeling alright?" he asked.
Shelly looked back at Jake and frowned. "Mom?? Do I look like your mother son!" she berated Jake.
A stunned Jake didn't know what to say. "Er..." he mumbled, as he followed his mother around the shops looking for a new battery. While in one shop, Shelly approached the counter and addressed the oil-stained clerk who was cleaning a spare fan belt. "Hey buddy!" Shelly called out, scratching in between her breasts in a manly fashion. The clerk looked up and saw an elegantly dressed woman and her perplexed looking teenage son. "Can I help you ma'am?" the man said.
"Ma'am? Cut the crap okay, I need a new van battery!" Shelly sighed, letting out a slight belch.
"Um...okay," the clerk muttered, "what model van?"
Shelly went on to describe the family van in great detail, its age, its mileage, its reliability, even listing parts of it that no woman would ever have known. This only caused Jake to become even more confused. "Mom...you're acting like a guy...STOP IT!" he grumbled loudly.
Shelly's eyes suddenly glossed over and she shook her head before looking around. "Oh my!" she said timidly, "this isn't the mall!" she then exclaimed.
"Obviously lady!" the clerk responded, looking at Shelly...then glancing at Jake.
"Jake, what am I doing here honey?" Shelly then asked her son.
