I woke up on the deck of the pirate ship

Oh no, I thought as soon as I realised here we'd landed. I thought we would be at the den, or the lagoon. Not this dreadful place.

I looked around me as I stood up, taking in my surrounding. The pirate ship was huge, netting reaching high up to the masts, the sails were down. I could hear the sound of laughter coming from below deck. I gulped.

"Come on," urged Tink's cousin. "We have to get out of here now."

I wasn't about to disagree. I tiptoed as gently as I could, following the two sprightly fairies as they led the way to get off the ship. I had just about made it, the steep gangway in sight, when the board I stepped on let out an almighty groan. I froze on the spot.

The laughter below the deck stopped instantly and was replaced with a deathly silence. Then all of a sudden, what seemed like everyone who had been below deck raced up to see what intruder was on their ship. I was frozen with fear, my legs would not work. Even when I saw them coming at me, ugly, leering faces sneering at me. The one in front held out a long sword pointed in my direction. His bulbous belly hung over his tattered pants.

"Get her boys," the pirate instructed. Without further ado several of the men rushed forward and grabbed me, trusting me up tight with a section of rope. It burnt into my skin.

There was no sight of the fairies.

"Good, now go and get Hook," Smee instructed once more, a smirk crossing his cracked lips.

Hook. Oh no.

I knew what that meant. Hook was the worst pirate known to Neverland, he was harsh and ruthless. He had tried many times to kill Peter Pan without succeeding, though I was sure he wouldn’t have trouble killing me.

The crowd of pirates parted just then as a tall man wearing red clothing marched across to where I was tired. He had huge black locks of hair and a moustache that twirled. I found myself wondering how he got it to stay like that.

“Well, well,” he lifted my chin with his finger. “What have we have?”

I felt like an animal on show.

“A trespasser, sir,” Smee answered, eager to please. He was almost bouncing with joy.

“So I see,” Hook nodded thoughtfully. “And what do we do with trespassers Smee?”

“We make them walk the plan!” Smee’s smirk transformed into a gleeful giggle. He was enjoying himself.

“Get on with it then!” Hook roared. Flustered, Smee grabbed me and rushed me over to the plank, untying my ropes before setting me loose.

“Go on then,” he pushed me forward, his sword at my back. I felt it nick my skin drawing blood.

I gulped and look down, readying myself to face my doom when…

You have the following choices:

1. We heard Peter Pan's crow

*Noteb*
2. The sound of ticking alarmed Hook

*Noteb*
3. The fairies came racing back

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
