Deciding it would be less suspicious if you arrived with a mercenary company, you do just that. In your adventures you had made many friends and had impressed others with your fighting prowess. You also had more than a small bit of coin so you could afford to pay folks too. You are easily able to gather 200 men about you and with that you head North to pledge your life and service to Melisandre.

Well actually it would be to Stannis openly but secretly you would be serving Melisandre in any way she saw fit.

You arrived in the North and learned that Stannis was currently at Castle Black with the Night's Watch. You ride there ready to see what the lay of the land was.

You have the following choices:

1. Stannis was planning to march any day now.

2. Stannis wasn't planning on moving just yet.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
