Chapter #6

You meet Faith!

    by: Unknown
Walking though one of the many Sunnydale cemeteries, consumed in your thoughts about the powerful, beautiful Faith, you almost let out a yelp of surprise when in the distance you saw a dark haired woman locked in combat with a couple of vampires. Surely it couldn't be...?!

Edging closer towards the ruckus, using a tombstone to obscure yourself behind, you felt your heart racing uncontrollably as you got a proper view. It was her! Her unmistakeably lithe, athletic figure, along with her combative grunts...it was definitely the slayer alright! Well, one of them - the one you had lusted after!

"Man, you vamps really got a death wish, huh?" The gorgeous brunette stated, while performing an impressive spin kick on one of the her opponents.

The other glared at her, "Slayer! We're gonna grind you into paste, pull out a ribcage and-"

"Wear it like a hat? Yeah, yeah - heard 'em all before!" Faith laughed disdainfully as she planted a crisp kick to the vamp's chest, then followed it with an impressive-looking uppercut.

"You really are frickin' stupid! The pair of you! You know I work for Wilkins, right?" The slayer explained, pulling out a stake, toying with it as she passed it from hand to hand.

"Wilkins...who the hell?" Muttered one of the vamps, gingerly nursing the point where he had been hit, but his eyes fixed warily on his foe.

You had to contain a frustrated sigh of your own. Did these vamps know nothing about Mayor Richard Wilkins (the third)? Since you had been around Sunnydale for a few weeks or so now, it was obvious - to those in the supernatural know at least - that he was the big cheese, the man with the power!

Faith's disdain clearly echoed your thoughts. "Don't even know Wilkins..." She chuckled as she casually dusted the vamp who had just spoke. A groaning, crumbling sound reverberated around you as you watched the vampire perish. You had done a fair few yourself, but boy was that impressive!

The other vampire seemed to think so too. "Look, we're like, obviously on the same side here. I thought "slayer" - goody-goody, wants to kill me..."

"Hey, that little miss Buffy is NOTHIN' like me - ya hear?" Faith shouted out angrily.

"Ok, I'm sorry, I mean," the vampire said, sounding more than flustered. "Just let me go and we're...all good here!"

"Oh really? Well that sounds five by five to me..." Faith smiled before snapping an axe kick forcefully down onto her foe's unsuspecting head. He let out a groan as he crumpled to the dirty ground. In the blink of an eye, she used her leather boot to pin his squirming body firmly to the ground.

"So you wanna live, huh?" Faith chuckled nastily at her beaten opponent.

"Yes...yes!" Cried out the vamp, clearly desperate to live, such was his lack of fight.

"You can live...if you kiss my boot." Faith winked and grinned as she lowered her other boot so it was positioned just over his face. You couldn't see the sole of the boot from where you were, but you imagined clumps of earth and tufts of grass adorning it.

"What...?" The vampire groaned. However, his voice was meek, indicating that he probably had little pride left. This proved true as he pushed his mouth against her boot, choking a little on what was presumably dirt that had fallen down his throat.

"Gee...thanks!" Faith giggled. Just as the vampire let out a sigh of relief, with lightning speed, she suddenly drew a stake and dusted him rapidly.

Your mouth hung open as you witnessed this dominance. From the vamp kissing her boot to staking him...you could not help but feel completely besotted with this goddess!

"Later suckers!" Faith chuckled to herself as she picked up her stake and began stalking away.

"Look out!" You cried as another vampire dashed at her from behind. Racing over, you quickly muttered the incantation for a pyro-creating spell to completely inflame the vamp. Staggering around, he screamed in agony but was dust in just a few seconds. Faith watched open-eyed at first the pile of dust that could have killed her, then at you, standing right in front of her.

"Hi," you said, a touch awkwardly, being rather starstruck.

"Hey," she replied, her expression unreadable...

You have the following choices:

1. Faith is thankful for your help...phew!

2. Faith is pissed off that you interfered...uh oh!
