You felt your gut drop as you saw the tall, brunette haired, hazel eyed, and admittedly rather hot Ema step into your cabin. Fortunately she was on her phone and had yet to notice you.
"What? Ugh I can't understand you, my cell reception is gone out here. What are you saying? Whatever, I'll call you back later."
Ema hung up her phone and scowled at the air. Ema was the most popular girl at your school, and while you were at least above average in the social standings, you were nowhere near Ema's popularity, which was bad as she seemed to have a talent in picking on girls that weren't in her clique.
Ema stopped scowling and looked around eventually resting her eyes on you. "So you're my cabin mate, well at least your not one of the freaks." You didn't really have a response to that.
You spent the rest of the day learning camp rules and regulations, which were about what you'd expect in a summer camp. There were three meals a day, campers would have scheduled activities as well as free time, campers could only go in the lake with a counselor present, there was no skinny dipping nor was there going in to cabins of the other gender or leaving the cabins at all during the night, and lastly, if anyone had an accident it was their duty to report it to the camp staff. And you'd have to follow the rules all seven days you were staying at the camp.
Later that night you got ready for bed without saying much to Ema, who still spent her entire time on her phone.
