Jean sighed contently as she floated a plate of hotdogs and wings over to her position on the couch. She grabbed hold of the plate with her hand and started to telekinetically bring the food up to her mouth.
Ever since she'd come to the future, things had been a whirlwind of action. It had made her appreciate these moments of calm and quiet so much more. Not to mention, for all the crap the future threw at her, at least it had good food. So many things to try, so many more restaurants and that was before one went on to the internet and saw all the various crazy ideas! It was a tad overwhelming at first, but Jean had taken to it well enough as it helped take the edge of things. She'd also gotten into the habit of using her telekinesis a lot more. But Jean was not overtly concerned. Her powers dealt with her mind, not her body. Even if she turned into a butterball, it wouldn't really affect what she could do or hinder her performance. Heck, that was part of her reasoning of using her telekinesis so much more, to demonstrate that physicality really didn't enter the equation where she was concerned. If she happened to enjoy some extra perks or indulgences, what did matter at the end of the day?
'Besides, it's not like I'm fat or anything, anyway,' Jean reassured herself. She looked down at herself and saw...
