Name: Desmond Bridges
Age: 25
Sex: Male
Race: African American
Height: 5'10
Appearance: Typically sporting a shaved head and chin Desmond doesn't stand out too much in a crowd, which is just how he likes it. He may sometimes wear a short goatee or some stubble, but usually just to serve as a disguise or help hide his identity. His most distinguishing features are his beautiful light blue eyes and calming smile. He doesn't particularly care about fashion, but always wears stylish clothing whenever he's on a job, be it a simple suit and tie or designer jacket and jeans.
Home Base: Hacker Cave. An unknown location somewhere in South America. Desmond prefers to constantly stay on the move and has many safe houses all across the world, but he keeps returning to the Hacker Cave again and again. The place is fairly small due to being built into a cave on a remote hillside, though it has everything Desmond could ask for. The whole thing is comprised of only two rooms, a computer room and a small bathroom. The walls are all lined with monitors and various screens and speakers and the floor is littered with dirty clothes and various empty snack boxes. Of note are the thick reinforced walls and concealed and password locked front door.
Skills/Perks: Desmond is a master hacker and tech expert. In addition to building his own drones and specialized robots he has an extensive knowledge of computers and security systems. Basically, he can rewire anything more advanced than a wristwatch and disable anything that he can't reprogram. He also has an extensive grasp of cryptography and can decode almost anything. His skill with technology is so good that he often makes his own gear and even improves the gear of his allies.
Weaknesses: He isn't particularly bad at anything, but not particularly good either. He can drive, shoot and improvise decently enough, but he doesn't excel at any of those things. He works great as part of a team or in a support role, but is under-equipped to deal with most missions by himself.
Starting Assets: An advanced computer network that provides top of the line security and internet access. Several drones, turrets and basic combat robots. A secure bank account with a moderate amount of every currency on the planet for last minute expenses and trips. Several civilian grade firearms such as hunting rifles, handguns and the odd shotgun. A selection of computer viruses and a logbook with blackmail information. Finally, a weapon workstation for maintenance and crafting.
Starting Contracts
Repossession - A recent client of Sue's has stiffed her for all of the work she did on his new sports car. For revenge she wants you to steal back or destroy the car, along with any of his friend's cars that you can get your hands on. Risk here is minimal and so is the reward unless you bring back a lot of the cars. Pay: $1,000,000 - $5,000,000
Flu Shot - A massive technological company is giving Desmond a lot of trouble with their new computer security systems. If this keeps up for much longer Desmond's viruses won't be any match for their protection systems. The goal here is simple, infiltrate their company H.Q. in Brazil and get a copy of their master program before they can cause any more trouble. It'll be a pretty hard job, especially if it goes loud. Getting a hold of that master program will be well worth it though, not to mention the money you could drain from their accounts while you're there. Pay: $5,000,000 - $50,000,000
Cyber Heist - A group of famous bank robbers are planning one of the biggest heists in recent memory by knocking over the Blue Siren casino in Las Vegas. The only catch is that the casino has an entirely digital vault security system and they need a master hacker to help them reach and open it. In addition to providing intel and support Desmond will need to make sure the crew gets the job done and escapes in one piece. This one will be tricky, but the potential rewards are pretty damn tempting. Pay: $150,000,000 - $250,000,000
Beer Run - Some outlaw moonshiners in one of Brazil's biggest slums have stumbled upon a potent and dangerous formula. They call their secret blend Ambrosia and it's become quite popular thanks to its cheap cost and potent kick. Busting up this little operation would make for a nice little payday and the recipe to make this stuff would be a nice bonus. Fairly low risk and with good rewards, but you never know what kind of heat these guys might be packing. Pay: $10,000,000 - $20,000,000
Lost And Found - A recent spike in missing persons has Brazilian authorities worried that a serial killer or human trafficker may be at work. Luckily, Desmond has a special tracking program that might just lead him to the culprit. All of the missing people are college aged kids, some local and some tourists. This contract offers good rewards, but its unknown just what kind of danger may be in store making this a risky job to complete. Pay: $5,000,000 - $25,000,000
