One would never know it to look at them, but the boys were fugitives -- escapees from the State Juvenile Detention Facility.
This isn't the kind of place where they send first-offenders, shoplifters, or kids who play hooky from school one too many times; the State Juvenile Detention Facility is the teen equivalent of a maximum security prison. Only the most hardened and dangerous criminals are locked away there. Gone is any pretense of trying to turn their lives around and to get them to learn from their mistakes; they get sent to the State Juvenile Detention Facility for one reason only: to keep society safe from these demented monsters.
What, you may ask, was the crime that caused these ordinary-looking boys to be locked up? Why were they deemed to be a danger to society?
