The Temple of Aphrodite

"You guys ever heard of this?" Brandon asks. There were shrugs all around the table, as Brandon read the synopsis to himself.
The Temple of Aphrodite is a challenging adventure for 5-7 5th level characters. Your characters take refuge in the Temple of Aphrodite during a storm. The temple of the goddess seems abandoned, and it seems like a good place to stay. The characters will find that it is not as abandoned as they believed it was, and none of the characters will leave unchanged.
"Ok, everyone, make two characters," said Brandon, preparing to make one of his own, to not take too much of the spotlight.
Kyle made a male Dwarven Artificer and a male Human Champion Fighter
Josh made a male Human Battlemaster Fighter and a Female Elf Wild Magic Sorcerer
Mike made a Female Gnome Bard and a Male Human Cleric
Brandon made a Male Human Wizard to round out the group.
Once everyone had made their characters, Brandon set up his DM Screen, and began.
"Lightning crashes, way too close for comfort as you move as quickly as you can through the softening ground. You haven't seen any signs of shelter, but you hope to get out of this storm soon."
"We shd get oot o this storm quickly, friends," said Kyle, in a very bad interpretation of a scottish accent, as he got into character for Bran, his dwarven artificer.
"And how do you suppose we do that, Master Dwarf," said Josh as the Female Elf Sorcerer "Do you have a magical door that you could lend us?"
"We wouldn't have to if the wizard had remembered to prepare Tiny Hut," Mike, speaking as the Cleric, said
"Hey, I thought we'd have to fight today," said Brandon, speaking as the human wizard "Besides, isn't that a building over there? Perhaps we can seek shelter there for the night?" Brandon describes a temple with golden and red painted on the sides.

1. Before they can get there, lightning strikes one of them
