There were hundreds of students you could swap bodies with. Your school was pretty large and offered many interesting lives to test your device out on. Some people will be more difficult to keep quiet than others, not that it really mattered to you as you now possessed a literal body swapping device.
You could think of several swaps that could be interesting. Doing one with a popular kid would not only prove the swap worked, but also be able to see how social relations are impacted by the swap and give you some free time as one of the popular seniors around school.
On the other hand, being one of the fellow nerds who went to school does offer its own advantages. They would be more likely to cooperate with you and it would also allow a safer environment to test your work.
There were other groups you could test on such as athletes and clubs, but first you would have to eliminate the two obvious options. So, who should you focus your first experiment on?
