This choice: You take Jake and the body swapping machine back to your aunt's house. • Go Back... "Mum!" you called out, if you were going to do this, you needed someone keeping an eye on your aunt here. She could also help excuse you to stay with your aunt.
Your mother entered the garage and saw Kelly acting weird. She then eyed off the machine you had built. "So you swapped Jake's and Kelly's bodies?" She asked bewildered and amused.
"Yeah..." you'd just be insulting her if you came up with another excuse. "I'm training Jake to be human, using some old devices.
"Hi, hi, hi," Jake said with enthusiasm.
"I see, so what did you need me for?" She found the whole situation amusing and wasn't going to stop you for now.
"Well, Jake's not exactly 'human' ready yet, and I don't want dad knowing about my machine. So I was hoping I could take Jake and the machine back to Aunt Kelly's place and stay with her until I at least get it so Jake can be convincing as aunt Kelly, until she wants her life back. I also need someone to keep an eye on aunt Kelly. If she wants out of that body, she's going to growl and scratch the ground."
"Yeah, I don't think your dad would be happy to find out you turned his sister into a dog..." she admitted. "Okay I'll allow it, but be respectful with your aunt's body young man, and when you come back, you've got to let me try that thing."
"Thanks mum, I knew you'd understand," you gave her a hug then proceeded to unplug the pods. "Jake, load the pods into the car," you instructed using the device again. "I'll be back as soon as she's ready, remember Aunt Kelly's code and call me if she's ready to stop being a dog."
With your mother's blessing and her keeping an eye on aunt Kelly until you got back, you drove Jake back to your aunt's place. You unloaded your machine in her house but didn't plug it in yet as there was no need to use it. It was more so to protect it from your dad.
You had Jake call the modelling agency and tell them that Kelly was sick and couldn't come into work, the accepted that but she wasn't going to get paid. You spent the next three days teaching Jake how to be a human and luckily he got the hang of the toilet rather quickly. You showed him video tutorials of women stylizing their hair and applying make up, you then used the mind control device to get Jake to do that himself.
You were amazed how well Jake started to comprehend language and you wondered if it were because he had a human mind, he was now able to have a conversation with you, though his words were broken. You even managed to get him to do a modelling shoot, you stayed back stage to monitor him and it quickly became apparent on why your aunt wanted to be someone else, even your dog. There were a few hiccups with Jake's behaviour but the next day you managed to get him to do Kelly's job without much effort.
It took about a week and Jake was still speaking in fractured sentences but he was ready to live Kelly's life and such it was time for you to go home. You got Jake to help you load the machine back in the car and drive you home. Your real aunt ran up to you all excited you almost forgot there was a human inside that body.
"Hello, Jake, good boy," Jake lent down and gave his old body a pat. Kelly barked and licked her old body in return. Jake continued to look at his old body, he had come quite far in a week. Likewise, Kelly stared up at her old body amazed how human it was acting.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
