Charlotte really wanted to try and wear more of Erika's punk style, but she wasn't really confident she could do it properly. As she tried on a few of her more... intense pieces of clothing, she immediately felt a little embarrassed, so she gave up. She wanted to respect her granddaughter's image, but she was also feeling a tad selfish, and decided to go with more traditional clothing. She found some clothes she had bought for Erika, tags still attached, of course, and borrowed a few things from her daughter's closet as well.
She wore a long skirt, and a well-ironed blouse. The pink hair threw off the look quite a bit, but she was able to put it up in a way that still looked mature. Charlotte had managed to age Erika up quite a bit, so it wouldn't look nearly as suspicious when she picked up her body.
Charlotte went downstairs, and was showered with compliments about how nice she looked from your mother. As she was about to step out the door, a hand from the garage yanked her inside.
"Okay, who are you, and where's the real Erika?" you interrogate.
Your grandma smiled, "I guess this is a bit obvious. It's me, your grandmother! Erika and I were admiring your machine yesterday, and I, a bit foolishly, turned it on. By the time I woke up, your mother had taken Erika back to my home in my body. I'm on my way to go bring her back now."
You're annoyed that someone had used your machine before you, but you were probably going to try it on Erika anyways. "Well, Grandma... What's it like? How did it feel? Any side effects?"
"Oh, Luke, it's so wonderful! I've been able to see the world from Erika's perspective for once! I feel like I already know her so much better. Thank you for giving me a chance to walk in her shoes for a bit!"
"Uh... I meant more like.. Well, whatever. Just get her back here and switch back. You can activate it again by yourself, right? Change back, and that's it. Actually, maybe you should wait and let me do it for you..."
You keep changing your mind, so your grandmother just walks off. She thinks you're incredible, and a genius! But she will not be taking orders from her grandson.When she gets outside, she sees Erika's friend Kathy is waiting to pick her up for school, so she climbs into the passenger's seat.
Kathy's jaw drops. "E-E-Erika?? What? What happened to you? I mean, you look amazing but... I didn't think you could be so femme! Why? Did Luke do something to you?"
Charlotte graciously accepts the compliment. "Thank you, dear, but a young woman needs to experiment to find her own look! Youth is the time to try all manner of new things! Now, if you wouldn't mind..."
