After a short jog to Jinjo village, where she entered the throne room of the Jinjo King, she saw the king... slightly less relaxed than usual. The dude was never really tense.
"Oh wonderful! You came! That letter was more of a precaution, but mere seconds after Canary Mary flew off, a portal to another world opened up. The only scout to come out of it said it was like our world if Banjo and Kazooie failed to climb Grunty's tower and stop her from sticking all the life out of the world. Honestly there are a lot less zombies than you'd expect, and the survivors have gone mad or something.
If you could go inside and find a way to close it before the grunty of that world finds out about it and invades our world, that would be just wonderful. Especially for Tootie. She's been let out of of prison by the ridiculous police after finding her trial was mishandled, poor thing, and I dare say that old hag will probably want to drain her beauty again."
Humba went to run off, before realizing heroes usually ask questions... and being aware of the fourth wall like most people in the series, she had to ask: "Wait, what this have to do with Humba getting fat?"
"Oh... um... I suppose we should go over that, huh? Give me a moment while the writer of this chapter actually comes up with an excuse..."

"So Glowbos in that world are extinct, but their fur was used to make clothing by Grunty, different outfits give different powers, each one also giving a transformation." The Jinjo king read from a script, wearing some reading glasses. "But since they're magic of another world, wearing them will mess with your biology making you fat... really? That's what we're going with? Oh well. Anyways the costumes are conveniently modeled after your other nuts and bolts alternate designs, plus you tooie outfit. Sound good?"
Humba nodded. "Humba think that good. Humba just going to guess Jiggies still a thing for progress, so humba look for them."
"There, off you go. Try not to get too fat too quickly! Toodles!"
And with that, Humba Wumba left to find the portal in the middle of Jinjo village, stretching a bit before jumping into a slightly darker world that would probably be better than nuts and bolts.
