When Grunty got to the door of her lair, she was surprised to see Banjo and Kazooie.
"What do you want, bird and bear? Why must you disturb me in my lair?" Grunty asked Banjo and Kazooie, who just stared at her. She was not amused at this.
"Why do you just stare like that? Oh, I get it, it's because I'm fat!" Grunty told the duo.
"No, not at all." Banjo told Grunty, trying not to hurt Grunty's feelings.
"Speak for yourself, Banjo. Fatty Hatty's gotten way too big for her britches." Kazooie told Banjo.
"Kazooie!" exclaimed Banjo.
"Actually, we just came by to see if you had any evil plans today. We hadn't seen you in the last week." Banjo told Grunty.
"For your information, I've made a switch. No longer am I an evil witch. When I tried to capture your sister, all it did was give me blisters. I've fired all my minions as well, and I've given up my magic spells. Now the only thing I'm in the mood to do is eat tons of junk food." Grunty told Banjo and Kazooie.
"Could you at least make yourself decent?" Kazooie asked Grunty.
"I would, but they don't make clothes in my size. Not since all that food went to my thighs." Grunty told Kazooie.
"Well, there's my nightmares for the next few weeks." Kazooie told Grunty.
"Kazooie!" Banjo exclaimed, but even he thought about siding with her.
"Well, since we're no longer enemies, bird and bear, I'd like to invite you into my lair." Grunty told Banjo and Kazooie, and she led them into her lair, which was surrounded with empty food boxes and wrappers. Both Banjo and Kazooie were horrified at this.
"Banjo, I think we ought to call a sanitation worker and have this place condemned!" Kazooie told Banjo.
"Kazooie!" Banjo exclaimed, although he secretly sided with her.
"What's the use of cleaning my lair when I can't even defeat a bird and bear?" Grunty asked Banjo and Kazooie.
