Getting Richard the land whale back onto land

The two nurses have gotten the massive sling under Richard's massive belly where he's 'sitting' on a step at the shallow end of the pool. He's accustomed to this - in the water, his girth doesn't slow him down too much, but on land... like a elephant seal, he's not very mobile.

He pops the last doughnut into his generous mouth, and while he chews, Martin asks, "So, what's next?"

"Hoist me up and let's visit someone..." Richard suggests, as the two nurses get the pool-side crane into position, and attached to the sling. Richard stands, the flotation of the pool water making this possible, then steps forward, up one step, as the nurses with practiced coordination have the crane lifting his stupendous gut!

A few more steps, and the coordinated effort has Richard the 'land whale' out of the water. He and the crane shuffle gently around until ...
