Just A Day Like Any Other

Unaware of the 'total badass' clinging to her shoelace, Emily stopped her running when she saw her friends, Sophia and Isabella, standing in the playground. They greeted each other with the same exuberance of seven-year-olds everywhere, loudly discussing their activities of the night before, and planning what to do in the breaks between class that day.

They didn't stand completely still, bobbing from foot to foot all too often, but they were relatively stationary...
