Taking a cookie, the sisters walked off to capture another person who had entered. As soon as they couldn't see Annabeth, she dumped the cookie on the floor.
"Fell for it once. Won't work again...", commented Annabeth. She remembered the first time she ate a Lotus Cookie and didn't fancy losing herself again.
Walking off, Annabeth located reception. After checking in, she headed up to her room.
Upon arriving, Annabeth was awe-struck. She was in one of the penthouses and had a full view of the Las Vegas Strip. Her bedroom had a double bed and a mini-bar, along with a plate of Lotus Cookies. They were immediately thrown in the trash. In the living room, there was another mini-bar and a 65 inch UHD TV, along with a window overlooking the Strip. Crashing on the sofa, Annabeth switches on the TV and settles in for the night.
Meanwhile, the Lotus Sisters took note of Annabeth's actions.
"She threw away some cookies!", complained one.
"She has clearly been here before, which means we need to take extra measures in order to trap her.", said another.
