Chapter #5
Mop and... Go?
by: Unknown
Hank's thoughts were interrupted as the wooden mop in his hands seemed to just... disintegrate! The three remaining pieces clattered to the floor, leaving him stunned and empty-handed. What on earth? How had that happened? Frowning, Hank reached down and picked up the pieces, carrying them over to the nearby waste bin. Now he'd need to find a new mop and -- wait, what? He opened his hands to find them completely empty! Where did the handle-pieces he'd just been carrying go?
With a grunt of confusion and frustration, Hank looked around his feet in case he'd somehow dropped the pieces on his short walk across the lab, even though he knew that made no sense. Hank regarded his big hands with suspicion, turning them over and over. They tingled a bit, feeling slightly numb as if they'd fallen asleep, but even that feeling seemed to be fading away almost as quickly as the missing mop apparently had. This was certainly a strange conundrum...
