The two friends headed down into Mitch's unfinished basement where they usually hung out. Mitch's mom didn't like having the noise of video games upstairs, but she did provide a pretty nice space in the basement for her son to hang out with his friends where they could make as much noise as they wanted without being too distracting. It was nice for what it was, with a big TV for gaming, a comfy old couch and some bean bag chairs, plus a mini fridge for soda.
Firing up the Xbox, the two decided to play some Need for Speed, an old favorite of theirs. Back in the day they used to race against each other all the time, and today they were feeling a bit nostalgic. After a while, things started to get a bit competitive, though.
"Let's make a bet," Mitch suggested.
"You're on!" Cameron agreed.
"Okay. Best three of five, whoever loses has to do something crazy."
"Like what?"
